Bethsaida is a charitable organization that was founded in the year 2012 as a result of an increasing
number of orphans, destitute, and street children who all the time would stay
around the streets of Soweto and its environs.
The Centre is in the heart of Soweto slums in Nairobi County. It consists of 45 children of ages 2 -22 years orphans, destitute children, disabled, and those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS in our society.
The Centre is manned by volunteers who carry out all the
duties in support of the children. The children have been enrolled in school to
access education both in primary, secondary, and tertiary levels.

Shelter
This orphanage aims to provide care, support, and protection for 45 orphans & semi orphaned children. This home has one social worker, three Caregivers, One Teacher, One Vocational instructor, one cook, one attendant, and one watchman. All the children are being provided with 3 time’s nutritious food.
EDUCATION
We endeavor to provide every orphan with holistic education up to the tertiary level, A child who knows how to read, write, and do basic arithmetic has a solid foundation for continued learning throughout life. Education is also critically important to children’s social integration and psychosocial well-being it is a major contributor to the reduction of poverty. Education increases labour productivity, improves health, and enables
people to participate fully in the economy and the development of their societies. As for the orphans who are gifted differently we also support, mentor them to reach their full potential.
Health
A doctor conducts health check-ups & provides medicines, we also provide dental and therapeutic attention. This helps us to keep the overall growth and development of all orphans under our care as we can detect illness early and treat them effectively
Employment Of Workers
We have staff who work around the clock to ensure all children are taken care of, most of them have faced trauma, loss, and struggle to cope we endeavor to provide a supportive and caring place where the children feel like they are in a normal household setup. We give a safe and nurturing environment to enable them to thrive and grow
